However, Freemasonry also teaches and practises concern for people, care for the less fortunate and help for those in need.

    It is a great pleasure and a privilege to be appointed as Group Chairman of the South Eastern Group of Lodges and Chapters.

    Our Group of Lodges and Chapters is one of 22 groups within the Province of West Lancashire which is one of the largest Masonic Provinces. Our Group meets in the Urmston Masonic Hall, Westbourne Road, Manchester and in the Stockport area. We have 15 Lodges and 4 Chapters meeting in the group.

    Freemasonry is well established in this area with our oldest Lodge being  over 140 years old, but although some traditions have been upheld over the years, we are continuing to move with modern times which is clearly seen here on our Website….
